About Us
We want to feel personally connected to our couples. We realize in order to do that we need to be open about our story before we can have the honor of telling theirs.
Eric and I met when we were toddlers at Chesterfield Baptist Nursery School. Our families didn't know one another it was simply by fate that our paths crossed. Eric recalls a redheaded girl that would chase him and I recall a redheaded boy that I loved to pick on. We wouldn't meet up again in life until seventh grade, age thirteen. I noticed Eric immediately the only boy in class with long hair, an ACDC t-shirt, ripped jeans and a rockstarish edge. He knew exactly how to get my attention by drumming his hands on his desk to the beat of a Nirvana song...Scentless apprentice...I picked up on the beat instantly and It was in the very moment I was smitten. I knew we would be best friends and possibly more. We had everything including our favorite band in common. We both played guitar left handed, we both loved music and all things edgy. We were the outcasts, I guess you could say. Eric had and still has my undivided attention like no-one else ever could. Our love grew and by the middle of that very year there he was reciting the "Annabel lee" by Edgar Allen Poe to me in front of the entire seventh grade English class. He continued to do crazy little things for me like walking up to the principle in eight grade and professing his love for me. We wrote each other hundreds of love notes and held hands in the hallways. We talked on the phone every single night for years, we even slept on the phone. This was back in the age of no cell phones mind you. Everything he did for me was the most adorable, pure, sweetest, show of love I'd ever known. We were completely inseparable for the rest of the years of middle school and high school. Eric proposed to me in eleventh grade while I was working at hot topic don't laugh it was adorable.....that store used to be all the rage! We stayed engaged and got married while we were still in college. We married in 2005 and I started my business in 2009. I brought Eric on shortly after as my second shooter best decision ever. We had Annabel our daughter in 2014...she is the sweetest most adorable redheaded wild girl you have ever seen! Notice her name? It wouldn't be full circle if we hadn't named her “Annabel” after the poem Eric recited to me in the seventh grade.
We still love Nirvana, we still love Edgar Allen Poe...we also love The Avett Brothers, Kings of Leon, Shovels & Rope and Iron & Wine. We are born music lovers, and our love story happened because of it.
We want to know your love story and be able to tell it to the world. We absolutely love being able to capture love stories. After more than eleven years capturing families, and Weddings we still love every second of it. It really is the best job in the world. We still consider ourselves very lucky to be able to do what we love.
Let us tell Your Love story...
